La Moss

Today I have the gorgeous La Moss from Butter London.  You see two coats below.  I thought the formula was great, but I had a bad case of the yips and I got it on my cuticles.  Reds are SO HARD to clean up.  I'm sorry for that!

Moss is something I'd like to be seeing right now instead of the enormous snow storm that is currently hitting Maryland!  Its MARCH for goodness sakes!  6-10 inches expected.  My kids are happy as clams, but I need spring!

Hocus Pocus gets Cocky

Today I have a great pairing for you.  I started out with Cocky from the Sephora X Collection, a very sheer blue jelly.  This is three coats below and you can still see the visible nail line big time.  Personally, I'm not a fan of showing off the panty line as it were, so I had to top it with something, as pretty as this color may be.

So I put Smitten Hocus Pocus on top and it came ALIVE!  This was just stunning on the nail, one coat of Hocus Pocus was all I needed to feel confident about this mani.  I was in love with the first stroke.  Application was perfection.

Pixie Tears over DWS

Today I have an awesome combo!  I started off with Illamasqua DWS, a beautiful grey creme.  This is two coats.  Illamasqua has such a fantastic formula!

Then I put one coat of KB Shimmer Pixie Tears over top, which is a clear base with micro shimmer flakies.

I loved this pairing, when it caught the light it was just stunning!

Deranged

Today I have one of the polishes from the Sephora X collection, Deranged from the Prismatic line.  I found the formula on this to be great and there was so many facets to this polish.  I am a big fan of the X collection, I wish my store carried them, unfortunately the only way I can get them is online.

Beautiful Cosmos

The minute I laid eyes on this polish in a bottle shot, I knew it would be mine.  And it most definitely didn't disappoint!

This is two coats of Picture Polish Cosmos, a stunning blue shelly base with holographic and glitter effects.  Just GORGEOUS!  This is one of those polishes that you sit and stare at your nails for most of the day.  If you don't have it, you NEED it!

Peanut Butter & Jelly

GAH, I know, blogger fail.  Life, work, sickies, blah have been getting in the way lately.  I'm still doing my nails though!  You can't get rid of me that easily.  Don't forget about my 1 year blogiversary giveaway!  I got No Medal For Chewie the other day and it is gorgeous! 

This polish has a special place in my heart because it was my first (check that, my ONLY) blog giveaway win!  I got to choose any Whimsical Ideas by Pam and I picked this one.  This is a grape jelly base with gold glitters and I think it is perfectly named.   Thank you so much to Iheartprettypolish for this giveaway (which seems like forever ago and had the wonderful added benefit of helping us get to know each other better!) 

I was really happy with the formula and application, but I have felt that way about all of my Whimsies, this is a unique polish in my collection as well.  You see here 3 coats on the nail with no undies (always a plus!!).

Vibrant Flame (or how my husband surprises me)

Today I have a special to my heart polish.  For Christmas I put on my wish lists "any polish, any color", I figured I'd get duplicates, but surprisingly I didn't.  Then my husband got me this, not only not a duplicate, but a brand I had never heard of.  Three snaps in a circle for him!

This is Face Stockholm Vibrant Flame.  I love the high gloss finish on this, this was only two coats.  I thought the formula was a little on the runny side, but otherwise I was thrilled with this one!

Fascinating Violet

Today I have a gorgeous Jade holographic polish for you.  This is Fascino de Violette and it is outstanding!

The application was perfect and I got full coverage in 2 coats. I couldn't have been more thrilled with this polish. I need to own them all now. Check out how strong the holographic effect is?

1 Year Blogiversary!

Happy 1 Year!

This has been such an amazing year.  I started this blog as a way to track the manicures I've done and I feel like I've grown so much since I started.

I want to thank all of my followers for taking the time to read my blog, no matter if you did it just once or every day.  I appreciate you all!

So of course to celebrate, it is giveaway time!
