My Viking Boyfriend is Ogre the Top!

Today I started off with two coats of my new acquisition - OPI Ogre The Top Blue. I've been trying to complete my Shrek collection with only What's With the Cattitude left to get (the hardest, by far!)

I love Ogre the top, it had a great formula and shine on the nail.

Then I topped it with two coats of Glitzology My Viking Boyfriend. The shine and shimmer on this is amazing and it has all sorts of glitters packed into each brush full. Plus, when I think of a Viking boyfriend, Eric from True Blood always comes to mind (NEVER a bad thing!). I was very happy with the application of this and the staying power. It was easy to get from bottle to nail.

Brit Invasion

I have another Loreal beauty today, Brit Invasion. A beautiful blend of gold shimmers in a brown base. It hit the light and the gold came alive!

A great palate cleanser and totally work appropriate, but still with enough UMPH that you don't feel you are selling out your polish fun. :-)

A Very Merry Very Belated Very Amazing Christmas

So this is ridiculously overdue, but in looking at these photos? They are just too pretty not to share.

This was my Christmas manicure.

The fingers started off with 2 coats of OPI The Spy Who Loved me, a gorgeous shimmery red with an accent of 2 coats of Zoya Logan. Then I topped it with one coat of Laquistry Very Merry Holly Berry with Laquistry Your Tree Fir Real on the accent.

PERFECTION!

I got so many compliments on this manicure and it really was stunning and eye catching.

Laquistry is one of my favorite brands of polish, first because she packs so much glitter without making it too difficult to work with. Second because she has such unique and fun color combinations. Lastly, and most importantly, her customer service is UNPARALLELED. She is amazing.

Sorry this is so late, but it is just too pretty not to share!

Glitterati

Hangs head in shame. I know, I know, long time no post.

Things have been a bit crazy at casa SYTYCP, but I have lots of photos waiting to be posted, so hopefully I will be posting more frequently. Thanks for your patience!

Today I have Illamasqua Glitterati, it was part of the holiday duo on sale at Sephora. This is a deep red jelly with glitter. You see three coats below. It was a bit hard to work with at times (i.e. why my cuticles are a stained mess), but the final product is stunning. Worth the effort!

Happy New Year!

Hello Lovlies!

I'm sorry I have been so MIA lately, holidays, kids off school, shopping, wrapping, aaaaaahhhh!!!

I'm back though. I never stopped doing my nails, but I didn't get a lot of photos done, lol. Thanks for sticking with me if you did, I appreciate it!

To kick off 2013 I have my New Years Eve manicure.

I started off with two coats of OPI DS Radiance, a silver metallic polish. Then I used tape and put Zoya Storm on top, two coats as well.

I was really happy with how this turned out and I got a lot of compliments on it!
