Care to Danse in the Purple Haze?

Today I have a jelly sandwich.  I started off with 2 coats of OPI Care to Danse, a beautiful sheer lavender jelly.

Then I put on one coat of All That Glitters Purple Haze.  I had originally intended to stop here, but the darkness of the Purple Haze didn't look right against the softness of Care to Danse.  So I decided to put 2 more coats of Care to Danse on top.

Voila!  Jelly sandwich.

The formula on both of these was great.  I had no problems getting the glitter out of the bottle of Purple Haze or distributing it on the nail.  On one finger I had a surplus of glitter come out actually and I had to take them off!  Care to Danse is such a soft pretty shade, I loved it.

I also loved how the shimmer from Purple Haze still showed through the jelly top coat.

You can purchase OPI from Ulta or various online e-tailers.  All That Glitters can be purchased through her Etsy Store.

  1. Very nice!I just got purple haze in the mail not that long ago too.In this swatch, in stead of a white/purple/black glitter, Purple Haze looks like it has different shades of blue and lavender. Me Like! :)

    1. It really did change the look of the glitter. I never knew what I was going pair that polish with either because it is so dark and vibrant. This worked out well!

    1. I really do love the ballet collection, I have most of them (except for one of the pinks I think). It is such a pretty palate cleanser.
